EThe Barbie in the Tango-Giftset was the first doll with this new facemold. So she became the name giver of it. First it was only used for Collector dolls. Later it became the face of the Fashion Fever Shannen and entered the playline. Since that some call this face Tango, other Shannen. Some years later it was the face of the Basic model number 12. In that era, Mattel called it officially Tango face. With the 2013th Dolls of the World it was used for the Mexico Barbie. It looks a bit different to the predecessors, but it has the same patented number. Confusingly Mattel called the facemold of this doll suddenly New Hispanic Face. How ever it is called, the facemold is rare and only used for a few dolls.

DMit dem Barbie & Ken Tango-Giftset von 2002 trat die erste Barbie mit diesem Facemold in Erscheinung. Das Mold wurde zeitnah auch für die Shannen in der Fashion Fever Reihe verwendet, sodass beide Namen für dieses Headmold im Umlauf sind.
Mattel bezeichnete das Facemold 2009, als es für die Model 12 in der Basic Reihe verwendet wurde, selbst als Tango Facemold. 2013 wurde es mit der Mexico DOTW plötzlich zum New Hispanic Face. Das Facemold ist realtiv selten und wird überwiegend für Collector Dolls verwendet.
