Stardoll by Mattel – die virtuellen Models als Barbie

EDo you remember the little paper dolls, that could be dressed with paper clothes? That’s the idea of Stardoll – only that they were dressed in the internet. Mattel bought the rights of Stardoll and brought them into the real world with eight dolls.

The dolls are bit taller than Barbie with extra long model legs. But the heads have Barbie size. The eight dolls were presented with four different facemolds. As the sculpts have no special name, we call it number 1-4

DErinnert ihr euch noch an die Papp-Puppen, denen man Papierkleidung anlegen konnte? Meist bestanden sie aus Papier oder Pappe. Das ist die Idee der Stardolls, nur dass man sie ausschließlich im Internet anziehen und stylen konnte. Mattel kaufte die Rechte der Stardolls und machte aus ihnen acht echte Fashion Dolls.

Die Stardolls sind ein wenig größer als Barbie und haben extra lange Model Beine. Ihre Köpfe haben aber normale Barbie Größe. Die acht Stardolls erschienen mit vier veschiedenen Gesichtern. Da die Headmolds keine spezielle Namen haben, nennen wir sie Nummer 1-4.
