EThe Karl (Lagerfeld) Facemold was introduced in 2014 with the platinum label Karl Lagerfeld Barbie. It replaced the Bob Mackie Face, which was mainly used for Barbie Collector Dolls since the 90th.

  1. Hi! I really like your website!! and find it very useful especially for recognize barbie sculpts. Anyway I would like to report you that The barbie 60th anniversary was put in the Karl face sculpt page but it is actually is not correct. I know that might be confusing because the doll with this makeup is really similar to a Karl face but actually she is a Millie closed mouth collector size. It’s the same mold as Princess Leia.     1. Thanks for your helpful and nice comment. Yes – you are right, it’s the millie face with closed mouth. I took her out of the gallery and she switched to the Millie Collector size department 🙂 Many regards Dagmar
