One year later Mattel launched the first „Dolls of the World“ edition. Because Mattel didn’t have „international“ faces, the Guardian Godesses face was reused for the first Italian DOTW. Three different Italian Barbies were produced. Then the face disappeared in the Barbie Nirvana. So all together there are only 5 different dolls with this face.

Ein Jahr drauf wurde die neue Barbie Serie „Dolls of the World“ gestartet. Da es Mattel an „internationalen“ Gesichtern fehlte, wurde das Guardian Godess Face für die erste Italian DOTW verwendet. Insgesamt wurden drei verschiedene Italian Barbies produziert, dann verschwand das Gesicht in der Versenkung. Es gibt also gerade mal 5 verschiedene Dolls mit diesem Face.
