©1981 Ken AA, rooted hair

EIn the begining of the 80th the first afro-american Ken was issued. His facial features are nearly the same like the predecessor Brad (1968), but the AA Ken got a voluminous rooted afro. The Sunsational Malibu Ken was unfortunately the only doll with this hairy sculpt.

DMit dem neuen Facemold von 1981 gab es erstmals einen AA Ken mit gerooteten Haaren. Der Ken hat eine üppige Frisur im Afrostyle. Die Gesichtszüge wurden im wesentlichen von dem 1968er Brad Facemold übernommen. Der Sunsational Malibu Ken war der einzige Ken mit diesem Facemold.
