EThe Mbili face is only used for ethno Barbies. In the begining it was a Collector facemold, but with the So in Style series it entered the playline and became the face of Grace, Chandra, Marisa and Trichelle. And later it was also used for some Fashionistas dolls. 2011 Mattel presented a revised Mbili Face, called Grace / Mbili playline. They differ just in small points so it’s better to have a look at the neckmark to clear up if the doll uses the Mbili or Mbili Playlin Face.

DDas vollmundige Mbili-Headmold wird für Ethnobarbies (african / afro-american usw.) verwendet. Eine Blütezeit hatte es mit der So in Style, alle S.I.S. Barbies verwendeten das Mbili Face in unterschiedlichen Farbnuancen. 2011 Mattel stellte Mattel ein überarbeitetes Mbili Face vor das Mbili Playline oder Grace. Da sich die beiden Facemolds sehr ähnlich sind, hilft meist nur der Nackenstempel zur Identifizierung.
