Ethe Carnaval headmold was first time used 2003 for the LeAnn Rimes Barbie. Her smile and the tracing cheeks are matching very well to the young Popstar. In early 2005 came the David’s Bridal Eternal Barbie with the same face on the market and later the Carnaval Barbie. She became the name giver of the facemold, that is also used by Mattel. BeBe is another name for this face. The Mold was mainly used for collector dolls until Mattel patented 2010 a modfied version. The modified Carnaval face is now in use for playline dolls.

 

DDas Carnaval Headmold wurde 2003 erstmal für die LeAnn Rimes Barbie verwendet, wobei das Lächeln und die Pausbäckchen der damals noch jungen Sängerin sehr gut getroffen sind. Anfang 2005 kam die David’s Bridal Eternal Barbie mit dem gleichen Face auf dem Markt. Im Winter 2005 die Carnaval Barbie. Dieser Name hat sich dann für das Face durchgesetzt und wird auch von Mattel verwendet. Das Carnaval Face wurde überwiegend für Barbies in der Collector Edition verwendet, bis Mattel 2010 eine modifizierte Variante des Facemolds vorstellte. Die neue Version wird nun für Playline Barbies verwendet, aber gelegentlich verwendet Mattel auch das 2003er Face in der Playline.
