DMit der 2026er Holiday Edition stellte Mattel zwei festlich gekleidete Kens mit neuen Facemolds vor. Mattel bezeichnet beide Molds als „New smiling sculpt, aber die beiden unterscheiden sich wesentlich von einander. Während der blonde Ken ein braves Pausbäckchen Gesicht hat, fällt sein schwarzhaariges Pendant (JJX91) durch markante und scharfe Gesichtszüge auf. Der offene lächelnde Mund wurde mit Grübchen in den Mundwinkeln gestaltet. Herausragendes Merkmal ist jedoch das ausgeprägte Kinngrübchen. Mattel hatte schon früher Ken-Molds mit Kinngrübchen designed (u.a. Hispanic Ken 1983, Stars’n Strips Ken 1991, Nicolai Face 2009, BMR Tate 2019 und Looks Cam 2022), aber sie waren nicht so ausgeprägt wie bei dem brunetten Holiday Ken. Die kleine Vertiefung in der Mitte des Kinns ist (i.d.R.) eine genetische Veranlagung und kommt bei Männern häufiger als bei Frauen vor.

EWith the 2026 Holiday Edition, Mattel introduced two festively dressed Ken dolls featuring new face molds. Mattel named both molds „new smiling sculpt,“ but the two differ significantly from one another. While the blond Ken has a chubby-cheeked look, his dark-haired counterpart (JJX91) stands out due to his striking, sharp facial features. The open, smiling mouth is designed with dimples at the corners. However, the standout feature is the pronounced chin dimple. Mattel had previously designed Ken molds with chin dimples (including Hispanic Ken 1983, Stars ’n Stripes Ken 1991, the Nicolai face 2009, BMR Tate 2019, and Looks Cam 2022), but none were as distinct as that of the brunette Holiday Ken. The small indentation in the center of the chin is (typically) a genetic trait and occurs more frequently in men than in women.
