EIn early 2022, Mattel continued the story from the Barbie film „Big City Big Dreams“ about Barbie Malibu & Brooklyn as a 26-part mini TV series entitled Barbie: „It takes Two“. The two friends try to pursue their musical dreams, and we learn about their families, friends and different cultures.Two new characters are Brooklyn’s neighbors, the twins Jayla & Jackson.

The twins are the same size as Stacie and came out as a doll set in early 2022. They got their own new facemold that they share. Jayla is rooted with black hair while Jackson got a sculpted „hair cap“.

DAnfang 2022 setzte Mattel die Geschichte aus dem Barbiefilm „Big City Big Dreams“, rund um Barbie Malibu & Brooklyn als eine 26-teilige Mini TV-Serie fort, die unter dem Titel Barbie: „It takes Two“ lief. Wir erleben die beiden Freundinnen wie sie ihre musikalischen Träume verfolgen, lernen ihre Familien, Freunde und die verschiedenen Kulturen kennen. Zwei neue Charaktere sind Brooklyns Nachbarn, die beiden Zwillinge Jayla & Jackson. Die beiden sind in der Größe von Stacie und kamen als Doll Set Anfang 2022 in den Spielzeughandel. Die Zwillinge bekamen ein eigenes neues Facemold, dass sie sich teilen. Jayla ist gerootet mit schwarzen Haaren, während Jackson eine modellierte „Haarkappe“ bekam.
