EThe Barbie evolution brought us Barbies with new bodies and even many new face sculpts. Unfortunately Mattel is very reserved with informations about the newer Barbie facemolds. As the Fashionistas Nr. 22 – the first curvy Barbie ever –  appeared with this new chubby facemold, we called it „Curvy„. Some collectors call it „Karl Playline„, because of the Similarity with the Karl Lagerfeld facemold some Collectors call it „Karl Playline“. Later the face got the name Daisy, after a new character in the Barbie Dreamhouse and Barbie Movies. She is Barbies first officially curvy girlfriend.

DDie Barbie Evolution bescherte uns Barbies mit neuen Körpern und viele neue Facemolds. Dieses neue Mold von 2015 wurde für die erste curvy Barbie verwendet (Fashionistas No. 22 #DMF24), wir haben es deshalb mangels eines offiziellen Namens „Curvy“ genannt.  Aufgrund der Ähnlichkeit mit dem Karl Headmold nennen Sammler diesen Kopf aber auch „Karl Playline„. Die Gesichtszüge sind allerdings etwas weicher und runder. Später lernten wir im Barbie Dreamhouse und in den Barbie Filmen eine neue Freundin kennen, die dieses Facemold verwendet: Daisy. Sie ist Barbies erste curvy Freundin und scheint nun die offizielle Namensgeberin für dieses Facemold zu sein.

  3. The Barbie that is included in the Barbie Pantry Playset 2023 is also a Daisy sculpt! She looks very similar to 2023 Wardrobe set Barbie with green eyes, except this one with the Pantry Playset has a side part for her hairline.
