EThe Mattel collaboration with Christian Louboutin brought us three Collector Barbies with spectacular designer shoes and all above a new Barbie face. Official name of this new facemold is „Louboutin“ but even the name „Glimmer“ is in use – after the club doll „Glimmer of Gold Barbie“ that came out a few month later. And sometimes Mattel calls the face N6599 which is the production number of the first Barbie with this mold.

The three Louboutin Barbies are: Cat Burglar Barbie, Dolly Forever Barbie (Safari Look) and Anemone Barbie. Later the Louboutin Headmold was used in the Basic series for the Modell No. 14 (in Collection 002, 002.5 and 003). Since that it appears unregular in the collector edition.

DIn Zusammenarbeit mit dem Designer Christian Louboutin kam 2009 die Cat-Burglar Barbie heraus. Sie brachte nicht nur heiße Schuhe mit, sie bekam auch ein neues Gesicht, das meist als Louboutin Facemold bezeichnet wird.  Gelegentlich wird das Facemold auch Glimmer genannt – nach der Glimmer of Gold Barbie, die wenige Monate später als Club Doll herausgegeben wurde. Und seit neuerem verwendet Mattel auch die Bezeichnung N6599 = die Produktionsnummer der ersten Louboutin Barbie.

Auf die Cat Burglar folgten 2010 in Zusammenarbeit mit Christian Louboutin die Dolly Forever Barbie, eine vom Safari Look inspirierte Puppe und die Anemone Barbie. Das Louboutin Headmold wurde später auch in der Basic-Reihen (Collection 002, 002.5 und 003) für das Modell Nr. 14  eingesetzt. Da sich das Face großer Beliebtheit erfreut, gibt es inzwischen eine ganze Reihe von Collector Barbies mit diesem Gesicht.
