Ja Leute, es wird abends wieder früh dunkel, in Kürze werden die Uhren auf Winterzeit umgestellt und dann ist auch schon Halloween. Wir dachten, Mitte Oktober ist die perfekte Gelegenheit, um mit Barbie auf „Süßes oder Saures“-Tour zu gehen. Dazu eine kleine Sammlung der Halloween Barbies, die wir bislang in unsere Fashiondollz-Galerien aufnehmen konnten. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Falls Ihr Euch Anregungen für ein kreatives Kostüm erhofft, dann kleine Enttäuschung, Barbie ist da eher etwas einfallslos. Meist ist sie als Hexe unterwegs. Aber gelegentlich schlüpft sie auch in andere Kostüme wie (nicht näher definiertes) Katzenwesen, Geist oder Zigeunerin.
Yes folks, it’s getting dark again early in the evening, soon the clocks will be changed to winter time and then it’s already Halloween. We thought mid-October would be the perfect time to trick or treat with Barbie. So welcome to our little presentation of Halloween Barbies that we keep in our Fashiondollz galleries. If you are hoping for suggestions for a creative costume, don’t be disappointed, Barbie is rather unimaginative with her costumes. Most of the time she is on the road as a witch. But occasionally she slips into other costumes such as (unspecified) cat, ghost or gypsy….

Deutlich mehr Mühe gibt sich Mattel in der „Kinderabteilung“. Shelly bzw. Chelsea und ihre diversen Freunde wurden schon in allerhand putzige Kostümchen gesteckt. Auch wenn man Halloween doof und überflüssig findet (wir haben schließlich unseren St. Martin, der uns Bonbons spendiert und außerdem noch Karneval mit Kamelle) niedlich sind sie!

Luckily Mattel puts more effort into the „children’s department“. Shelly and Chelsea and their various friends have already been put in all sorts of cute little costumes. Even if you think Halloween is stupid and superfluous (after all, we have in Germany our St. Martin who gives us sweets and also carnival with tons of caramels), they are cute!
