Astranova ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes eine auswärtige Schülerin an der Monster High. Sie ist ein Alien und versehentlich auf der Erde gestrandet. Als Außerirdische tut sie sich etwas schwer, die verschiedenen Gepflogenheiten der Monster zu verstehen. Mattel brachte Astranova im Rahmen von „Boo York, Boo York“ in einem Playset mit Raumstation heraus. Eine Magnetkugel leuchtet und blinkt im Takt der Musik und lässt Astranova schweben. Das Astranova gibt es in zwei Versionen: in hellem oder dunklem Violett.
