1978 TV’s Star Women

EWithin the special Edition „TV’s Star Women“ Mattel issued 1978 three „TV Ladies“: Cherryl Ladd as well as the Charlie’s Angel actress Kate Jackson and the stunt woman Kitty O’Neil. All three got a look a like facemold.

Kitty O’Neil was completely deaf and the first woman in the Stunts Unlimited, an organization of Hollywood’s top stunt people. She was not only a great athlete (swimming and diving), she was also a speed junkie and drove numerous speed records with boat, car and motorbike. Further records were the longest and the „highest“ fall of a woman.

DIm Rahmen der Edition“TV’s Star Women“ von 1978 produzierte Matell drei bekannte Fernseh Stars als Barbie: Cherryl Ladd, Kate Jackson und die Stuntfrau Kitty O’Neil. Alle drei bekamen ein look alike Facemold.

Die Schauspielerin und Sängerin Cherryl Ladd, wurde genau wie Kate Jackson vor allem durch ihre Rolle in der TV-Serie „3 Engel für Charlie“ bekannt.

 

Stuntfrau Kitty O’Neil (1946 – 2018) war völlig taub und die erste Frau in der Stunts Unlimited, einer Organisation der Top-Stuntleute Hollywoods. Sie war nicht nur eine großartige Athletin (Schwimmen und Tauchen), sie war auch ein Speed-Junkie und fuhr zahlreiche Geschwindigkeitsrekorde mit Rennboot, Auto und Motorrad. Weitere Rekorde waren 1977 der längste Fall und der „höchste“ Sturz einer Frau.
