The dress in the sailor’s look, was designed by Barbra Streisand in her early years and is supposed to wear 1963 in Hollywood’s Coconut Grove. The hairstyle corresponds more to her style of the last 20 years.

DEine große höckrige Nase, volle Lippen und ein leichter Silberblick sind Barbra Streisands Markenzeichen. Die Nase und Lippen sind Mattel bei der Barbra Streisand Barbie von 2007 recht gut gelungen. Man erkennt die Ähnlichkeit mit der Sängerin und Schauspielerin. Die Augen sind dagegen ziemlich missglückt – sowohl in der Farbzusammenstellung, als auch im Ausdruck.
Das Kleid im Matrosenlook, das die Barbra Streisand Barbie trägt, ist einem Kleid nachempfunden, dass sie in frühen Jahren selbst designt und 1963 in Hollywood’s Coconut Grove getragen soll. Die Frisur entspricht allerdings mehr ihrem Style der letzten 20 Jahre.
Barbra Streisand achtet bei ihren Fotos immer sehr darauf, dass sie im richtigen Winkel fotografiert wird. Der muss auch bei ihrer Barbie-Ausgabe gefunden werden.
