EThe Fashionista evolution in 2016 brought out three new bodies and some new faces in the Barbieworld and modern afro hairstyles. One of the females got an half cornrow hairstyle with molded cornows on her left side. The first – and so far only doll with this mold is the „Zig & Zag“ Fashionista.

DMit der Fashionista Evolution bereicherte Mattel die Barbie Welt nicht nur um neue Körper, sondern auch um einige neue Gesichter und moderne Frisuren. Insbesondere bei den afro amerikanischen Dolls waren trendige Frisuren angesagt. Eines der neuen Barbiegesichter ist mit einer halbseitigen modellierten Cornrow Frisur gestaltet. Die erste und bislang einige Barbie mit diese Gesicht ist die „Zig & Zag“ Fashionista von 2017.
