EThe Fashionistas line was released featuring a new packaging design and a new name in 2026. Having defined the Barbie world since 2009, the Fashionistas are now changed by the title „Style“.
The new line also celebrates Ken’s 65th birthday – including a tribute to the 1987 California Dream Ken.
This new Style Ken features a new head mold with a sculpted fade haircut and curls. The head consists of two parts: a sculpted hairpiece is glued onto the main head, fitting securely into a recessed groove. This same design principle was also applied to the Ken head molds HBV24, HJT08, HLG23 and HJT08.
The new hairstyle bears a strong resemblance to that of the Fashionistas Ken HBV24, while the face – with its open wide smile – is similar to the Fashionistas Ken HJT10.

DIm Jahr 2026 erschien die Fashionistas Reihe mit einem neuen Verpackungsdesign und neuem Namen. Seit 2009 prägten die Fashionistas die Barbiewelt und werden nun durch die Bezeichnung „Style“ abgelöst. Die Nummerierung der Fashionistas Dolls bzw. jetzt Style Dolls hat Mattel weiter fortgesetzt.
Im Rahmen der Style Dolls wird auch Kens 65. Geburtstag zelebriert – unter anderem mit einer Hommage an den California Dream Ken von 1987, der modern neu interpretiert wurde. Der Style Ken mit der Nummer #252 bekam ein neues Headmold mit modelierter Frisur und Locken. Der Look wirkt wie eine Kombination aus Vokuhila (Vorne kurz, hinten lang) mit einem Fade Cut an den Seiten. Der Kopf besteht aus zwei Teilen. Oben auf den eigentlichen Kopf ist eine modellierte Perücke aufgeklebt, die in eine Einkerbung gedrückt wird. Das gleiche Prinzip wurde auch bei den Ken Gesichtern HBV24, HJT08, HLG23 und HJT08 verwendet.
Die neue Frisur ähnelt sehr stark der des Fashionistas Kens HBV24 und das Gesicht dem Fashionistas Ken HJT10 mit dem offenen, breiten Lächeln.
