In den letzten Jahren ist Mattel vermehrt Kooperationen mit anderen Spielzeugherstellern eingegangen, um neue kreative Ideen mit Barbie umzusetzen. 2025 wurde im Zuge einer Lizenzzusammenarbeit zwischen Hasbro und Mattel eine neuartige PLAY-DOH Barbie-Kollektion vorgestellt. Die Reihe umfasst ein Sortiment an Standard Barbies mit modifizierten Facemolds und einem neuen, modifizierten Körper. Die Köpfe haben modellierte Frisuren und der Körper hat aufmodellierte Unterwäsche, ähnlich wie in der Star Doll Reihe.
Im Set ist im weiteren bunte PLAY-DOH Masse enthalten sowie verschiedene Modellierwerkzeuge, mit denen für die Barbie „Rohlinge“ individuelle Frisuren und Kleidung aus PLAY-DOH kreiert werden können. So können die Kinder lustige Looks für ihre Barbie-Puppe entwerfen. Den Vertrieb hat Hasbro übernommen.
Für die Barbies wurden bei der ersten Edition vier verschiedene Molds verwendet und mit modellierten Frisuren versehen. 2025 waren bei amazon sechs verschiedene Barbie-Spielsets erhältlich: zwei mit modifiziertem Millie Face, 2 x Brooklyn Face und je einmal Jia und das „HBV16“ Face.

In the recent years, Mattel has increasingly collaborated with other toy manufacturers to implement new creative ideas with Barbie. In 2025, a new PLAY-DOH Barbie collection was introduced as part of a licensing collaboration between Hasbro and Mattel. The line includes an assortment of standard Barbie dolls with modified face molds and a new, modified body. The heads have molded hairstyles, and the bodies got molded underwear, similar to the Star Doll line.
The set also includes colorful PLAY-DOH clay and various sculpting tools for creating custom PLAY-DOH hairstyles and clothing for the nude Barbie. This allows children to design fun looks for their Barbie doll. Hasbro handles the distribution.
The first edition of the Barbie dolls was made withe four different molds + molded hairstyles. In 2025, six different Barbie playsets were available on Amazon: two with a modified Millie face, two Brooklyn faces, and one each with Jia and „HBV16“ Face.

The Barbie in the Fashionista Ruffles Set was released with the modified Brooklyn Facemold. She has a normal sized Barbie Body.
The Barbie in the Florals & Fringe Set was released with the modified HBV16 Facemold. She got a curvy body with molded underwear.
