Sherlock Holmes ist ein Romandetektiv, der von Arthur Conan Doyle (1859 bis 1930) erfunden wurde. Holmes wurde mit seinem rational-analytischen Denkstil zum Vorbild künftiger erdachter Spürnasen.
In den zahlreichen Geschichten rund um diese komplexe Persönlichkeit tauchen typische Alltagsgegenstände wie Pfeife, Violine (Stradivari) und Schach auf. Ich zeige hier Miniaturen aus meiner Sammlung, die zu Sherlock Holmes‘ Leben gepasst haben könnten.
