EIn 2020 fashionistas number #160 was released with a new face. The Face has slightly asian features and an opened mouth with a friendly smile. So far we have no official name for this headmold, but in the last years, Mattel named the facial sculp sometimes after the production number of the first doll with that face. So we call that Face GRB52 until we know something better.

Depending on how the lips are painted, GRB52 is often confused with the Pizzazz / Olivia Face. However, GRB52 has a wider nose than Olivia.

DAnhand der Fashionistas Promo Picks konnte man es nicht genau erkennen, aber der Blick in den Nacken machte es eindeutig, Fashionistas #160 präsentiert wieder ein neues Barbie Facemold. Sie hat leicht asiatische Züge und einen geöffneten Mund mit einem freundlichen Lächeln. Wie üblich macht Mattel keine Angaben, ob die Neue einen Eigenennamen hat oder nicht. Aber in letzter Zeit nutzt Mattel gelegentlich die Produktnummer der ersten Barbie mit einem neuen Gesicht als Name des „facial sculp“. Also machen wir es genauso und nennen es GRB52.

Je nach Bemalung der Lippen wird GRB52 gerne mit dem Pizzazz / Olivia Face verwechselt. GRB52 hat jedoch eine breitere Nase als Olivia.

Info am Rande: Seit 1998 haben die meisten Barbies eine eingeprägte, von Haaren verdeckte Nummer auf dem Kopf, die der Produktnummer der ersten Barbie mit diesem Facemold entspricht.

  6. Hallo, ich habe vor kurzem noch eine Barbie mit diesem Facemold entdeckt, das ist eine Barbie Cutie Reveal Cozy series Poodle doll HKR05. Ich habe sie beinah mit Olivia und Raquelle verwechselt aber auf dem Kopf hinter den Haaren steht GRB52 und das Jahr 2020.
