E2022 brought us a new face in the afro-american Barbie Scene with very significantly facial features. Sound engineer Lyla appeared first time as friend of Malibu & Brooklyn  in the TV-Series „Barbie: It takes Two“. As Doll she was produced as Walmart Exclusive within the YouTube series „Barbie: „Life in the City“.

To understand the Malibu / Brooklyn Movie thing, a short explanation:

D2022 tauchte ein neues afro-amerikanisches Barbie Face mit sehr markanten Zügen auf: Lyla. Für die Fans der Barbie Mini TV-Serie „It takes two“ ist sie keine Unbekannte. Die Ton-Ingenieurin Lyla ist eine Freundin von Barbie Malibu & Brooklyn und hat ihren ersten Song produziert.

Als Doll kam Lyla jedoch erst später, begleitend zu der YouTube Reihe „Life in the City“ in den Handel.

Lyla wurde leider genau wie Robyn als Target Exclusive herausgebracht und ist deshalb nur schwierig zu bekommen, wenn man in einem Target-freien Land lebt. Da bleibt eigentlich nur ebay USA + hohe Versandkosten + Zoll. 🙁
