🕸 2023 Chucky & Tiffany - Monster High Skullector Doll Edition

Chucky die Mörderpuppe ist eine Horror-Komödien-Reihe, die 1988 ihren Start hatte und seit dem mit weiteren Filmen fortgesetzt wurde. Inhaltlich geht es um den Serienmörder Charles Lee Ray, der seine Seele durch Voodoo auf eine Kinderpuppe überträgt. Chucky mordet nun in Puppengestalt weiter und versucht den Körper seines kindlichen Besitzers, dem sechsjährigen Andy zu übernehmen. Am Ende jeder Film-Episode kann die Puppe zerstört werden, zu Beginn des nächsten Episode wird sie jedoch irgendwie wiederbelebt und macht Andy und später auch anderen Besitzern das Leben schwer. Im vierten Film der Reihe lässt Chucky die Seele seiner Freundin Tiffany auf eine weibliche Puppe übertragen, damit er Gesellschaft hat. Am Ende der vierten Episode töten sich die beiden gegenseitig. Aber soviel sei verraten, es folgen noch weitere Chucky Filme…

2023 widmete sich Mattel dem Horror um Chucky und brachte ihn und Tiffany im Rahmen der Skullector Reihe als Monster High Dolls heraus. Die Puppen sind beide weiblich und tragen die typische Chucky und Tiffany Kleidung. Die Köpfe wurden glücklicherweise nicht ganz so horrormäßig gestaltet, wie bei ihren Vorbildern, sodass man sie durchaus als „niedlich“ bezeichnen kann.

Chucky the Murder Doll is a horror-comedy series that started in 1988 and has continued with further films since then. The story is about the serial killer Charles Lee Ray, who transfers through voodoo his soul to a child’s doll. Chucky now continues to murder in doll form and tries to take over the body of his child owner, the six-year-old Andy. At the end of each episode the doll can be destroyed, but at the beginning of the next episode it is somehow revived and he terrorizes Andy again and later other owners. In the fourth film, Chucky transferres the soul of his girlfriend Tiffany to a female doll to have her company. At the end of the fourth episode, the two kill each other. But of course this is not the end, it continues with further Chucky films…

In 2023, Mattel thematized the horror of Chucky and released him and Tiffany as Monster High dolls as part of the Skullector series. The two dolls are both female and wear the typical Chucky and Tiffany clothing. Fortunately, the heads weren’t designed quite as horror-like as their counterparts, so they can certainly be described as „cute“.
